My Glorious Return to the Blogosphere

Or, um, something like that. I wasn’t sure when my last entry had been. Turns out it was December 24th, three days before Ben was born. Here’s the thing: it’s hard to type while holding a baby. It’s possible (I’m doing it right now, see the picture up there?), but it’s difficult.

Case in point, that last paragraph was written about an hour and a half (now almost two hours) before this one. The baby decided he was done sitting at the computer, so so was I.

In the rare instances when I do have a little time to myself, it seems like I’m always trying to catch up with all the blogs, podcasts, shows, and other content I follow, leaving me without time to create my own.

Just for the record, this paragraph here comes about an hour and a half after the one above it. And that is the reason this blog has sat dormant for so long. But this month I intend to make a change. I’ve decided to participate in Blog Every Day April, an idea dreamed up by Maureen Johnson. So this month, expect a post from me every day. I will post a blog entry here or on Xanga, or I will post a new episode of For Prosperity.

There’s lots more to come this month, so I’ll keep this entry short. Let me just say that, though it’s been crazy and exhausting, becoming a father is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
